  • An indoor market of mostly handmade goods sold by their makers, on two floors of a historic building, with a café open throughout.
  • Step-free entrance on the Kaivopiha side, to the left of the main door.

Getting there
The Tuomiokirkkotori bus stop, where long-distance buses also stop, is right next to the square. Turku Central and Kupittaa railway stations are within walking distance, and the Market Square (Kauppatori) is under a kilometre away. Parking nearby is limited, and the event area is closed to cars and bicycles.
  • Handicraft vendors, Christmas food, music and circus acts, and Santa Claus and his family. 108,000 visitors over the four weekends in 2025.
  • The same square as the Christmas Peace declaration at noon on 24 December.
  • Payment methods vary by vendor, so bring some cash as well as a card; the nearest ATM is about 250 metres away.

Tampere

Keskustori 1, on Hämeenkatu: a 9-minute walk from the railway station straight along Hämeenkatu, or tram 1 and several buses. The nearest car parks are P-Frenckell, P-Hämppi and P-Näsinkulma.
  • From Saturday 21 November the glögi restaurant, the doughnut café and some of the cottages are open; the rest of the cottages open on Saturday 28 November.
  • Open on Independence Day, Sunday 6 December.
  • The glögi restaurant is also open on 23 and 24 December, after the cottages close.

Getting there
On road 4 (E75), 8 km north of the city centre and 3 km from Rovaniemi Airport. Local bus 8 runs all year between the centre and the village; from November to March the Santa's & Airport Express also links the village, the centre and the airport.
  • Snowman World opens daily 10:00–20:00 from 6 December to 6 January, weather permitting, and the Arctic SnowHotel takes day visitors from 15 December.
  • On 24 December some cafés and attractions in the village close early.

Porvoo
